The Puretec FilterWall F4 in Mineral Grey is the premium end of home water filtration — a freestanding, point-of-entry system that treats every drop of water in the house. Its award-winning freestanding housing (yes, water filters can win design awards — this one did) fits neatly against an exterior wall and looks intentional rather than industrial. Mineral Grey is a subtle, contemporary finish that suits most modern Adelaide home exteriors, and if grey isn’t the pick there are other colours in the range too.
The FilterWall F4 is a freestanding unit, so we install it in a suitable location outside — typically near your existing hot water unit or your mains inlet, where our licensed installers can plumb it in cleanly. Because it’s freestanding, we can position it where it looks best rather than only where a bracket will fit. Installation is quoted separately — send us your house plans and a few photos and we can put together an estimate.

Yes. The carbon block stage is designed to reduce PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), along with chlorine and other chemicals.
Not quite. Traditional water softeners use salt to strip minerals out of the water and require a regular regeneration cycle and drain. ScaleProtect™ works differently — it changes the way calcium behaves so it doesn’t stick to surfaces and form scale. No salt, no drain, no power, no wastewater. For most Adelaide homes it delivers the benefits people want from a softener without the ongoing running cost. If your water is exceptionally hard we may recommend a dedicated softener instead — we’ll advise on site.
Puretec recommends replacing all three cartridges every 12 months. Cartridge changes take a few minutes and don’t require any tools beyond a standard housing spanner.
Yes — the FilterWall F Series comes in a range of colours (Mineral Grey being one of them). If you’d prefer Stone White, Charcoal, Cherry Blossom or another option, let us know and we can order it in.
The FilterWall F4 requires between 200 and 875 kPa. Almost all Adelaide mains supplies sit comfortably in that range; if you have unusually high pressure we’ll fit a pressure limiting valve during installation.
The housing is backed by a 10-year Puretec warranty and built for a long service life in Australian conditions. Cartridges are consumables, replaced roughly annually.
